Facilitation

Ever sat through a workshop where:

Only one or two people get to speak?

Too much time was spent on some things and not enough on others?

There was no clear objective but plenty of personal agenda’s?

There was no logical order to the day and you felt pressurised to follow the opinion or choices of the meeting organiser?

When groups of people come together, there can be unintended challenges that emerge.

Often leaders or session organisers do not realise that their positional power or in some cases strength of personality may make it difficult for others to oppose or question their point of view.

Conflicting personalities and viewpoints, chatty individuals and slow talkers can also make it difficult to sustain a productive and creative environment for the workshop.

An independent facilitator allows everyone in the room to be an equal participant and is a more productive and effective way to achieve desired outcomes in restricted time.
